Tihana Ivanković

Professor Tihana Ivanković was born in 1976 in Osijek. She enrolled at the Music School of Franjo Kuhač in Osijek at the age of 13. In 1998., she completed her graduate studies in Piano at the Zagreb Academy of Music at the regional department in Osijek in the class of associate professor Damir Sekošan with excellent grades. Since then, she has been devoted exclusively to pedagogical work at the Music School of Franjo Kuhač in Osijek, and recently also at the Primary Music School in Valpovo and her native Belišće. For a couple of years, she has been mentoring piano students and working as an external collaborator for the Complementary Piano at the Academy of Arts in Osijek. Through the work with her students, she regularly participates in national and international competitions where she wins high prizes and prepares students for very important performances in Osijek and Zagreb. Many of her students continued their musical journey and today are highly engaged young educators across the country. As the head of the piano department in her schools and schools in the surrounding area, she works to encourage young musicians and their teachers by organizing the competitive Inter-County Dolce Piano Festival in Belišće. Since 2020 she has been the head of the inter-county expert council of piano teachers in Eastern Croatia, strengthening cooperation with other piano experts throughout the country and abroad. She is a regular member of the organizing committees of the Darko Lukić Memorial and the EPTA International Competition for Young Pianists.

In 2021, due to her results, the Education Agency promoted her to the title of excellent counselor.

As the successor of Damir Sekošan’s piano school, exactly 100 years after the opening of the first music school in Osijek and the first young piano players, together with fellow enthusiasts, she is launching the Damir Sekošan Competition.

Srđan Dalagija

He was born in Sarajevo in 1962. He graduated in 1985 at the Sarajevo Music Academy, department of piano, class of professor Milica Šnajder. During his studies and after graduation he had an intense performing activity in the country and abroad. As significant performances during that period, numerous solo concerts and six appearances with the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra stand out. He participated in numerous competitions and achieved remarkable results.
For the last twenty-nine years he has been working as a piano teacher in the music school “Isidor Bajic” in Novi Sad. In his pedagogical work so far his students won over sixty awards at national and international competitions.
At national competitions his students won first prize at a national competition, as well as numerous significant awards in other competitions in the country.
At international competitions held in Serbia his students won the first prizes among which especially stand out competitions “Davorin Jenko” and “International Competition for Young Pianists” Sabac (laureate).
Among international competitions the following should be mentioned:
• Paris, France, the ninth international contest of “Nikolai Rubinstein” in 2008, two second and one third prize
• Usti nad Labem, Czech Republic, 44th competition “Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte” in 2011, second prize
• Barletta, Italy, 23rdcontest, Concorso Internazionale per Giovani Musicisti “Citta di Barletta”, 2013, first prize
• Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, 2015, “Eighth International Competition of Young Pianists”, second prize
• Arsoli, Italy, Piano del Cavaliere competition, 2016, second prize
• Legnano – Verona, Italy, IX International Competition Prize “Antonio Salieri”, 2018. second prize
• San Dona di Piave, Italy, Sixth International Competition “Citta di San Dona di Piave, 2018. first prize
• Milan, Italy, Piano Talents 2020 online competition, first prize
At the eighth international competition “Memorial Isidor Bajić”, his student won a special award “Isidor Bajić” by entering the finals of the B category.
Also, his students participated in numerous concerts and events as well as Master Classes in the country and abroad.
His student held a solo concert as part of the World Piano Conference – WPTA.
During the previous period, he was twice a member of the jury of the piano competition “Davorin Jenko” in Belgrade, then the competition of “Young Pianists” in Zrenjanin, the competition “Josip Slavenski” in Novi Sad. He was twice a member of the jury at the “Young Virtuoso” competition in Belgrade.
For exceptional pedagogical results at the “Isidor Bajić” Festival held in 2016, he was awarded the Diploma of the competition organizer.
For the president of piano section of Vojvodina he was elected in 2015.
For the president of the Republic Section of Piano Teachers of Serbia he was elected in 2016.
During his work as the President of the Republic Section of Piano Pedagogues, he actively, together with his colleagues, participates in drafting propositions and electing members of the jury for the Republic Competition.
Since 2018, he has been elected the head of the piano department of the Music School “Isidor Bajić” Novi Sad.
At the Annual Assembly of the Association of Music and Ballet Schools of Serbia held in Belgrade in 2021, Srdjan Dalagija was awarded the Community Award for many years of versatile work in pedagogical work with students and education of young talents.
At the invitation of the Association of Music and Ballet Schools of Serbia, he was president of the jury for the piano discipline at the Republic Competition of Music Schools of Serbia held in Belgrade in 2022.
During his pedagogical work so far, more than fifteen of his students, after graduating from high school in music, continue their education at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. Many of them are already employed as piano teachers in music schools.
Apart from pedagogical activities, the CD copyright edition collection of piano compositions “Balkando”, which was shot in 2000 in the studio “M” produced by Radio Novi Sad, specifically should be abstracted.

Snežana Milosavljević

Snežana Milosavljević was born in Belgrade where she finished “Mokranjac” Music High School with degrees both in piano and music theory. She then graduated from the piano department at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, and continued postgraduate studies. Since 1993 she has been teaching piano at “Mokranjac” Music School, and at the same time working as an accompanist for the string department at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. She has been actively involved in various chamber music ensembles.

During many years of her teaching career, she has raised generations of young musicians who have accomplished significant achievements during their studies. These achievements include solo and orchestral performances as well as radio and television broadcasts both in Serbia and abroad. With regular participation at all the major competitions in Serbia (Serbian national competition, Memorial “Isidor Bajic”, “Mihajlo Vukdragovic” competition, “Davorin Jenko” competition, “Sirmium Music Fest” competition, Memorial “Vojislav Vuckovic”, Biennial of young pianists in Kragujevac, etc.) as well as competitions in Italy, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Austria, France, Belgium, United Kingdom and Russia, students of Snežana Milosavljević have won more than 200 awards. Many of her students continued their studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, Music Academies in Banja Luka and Sarajevo as well as in important music centers in Spain, Germany, Austria, Italy and most prestigious Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, Russia.

Along with her many prizes and awards for pedagogical achievements, Snežana Milosavljević is often invited to participate as a jury member at piano competitions.
